Jim Tries, a steeplejack with American Steeple & Tower Inc. of Salem, MA, takes down the rigging which had been set up for completing masonry repairs to the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Concord. Tries says climbing to the steeple tops doesn't phase him, although, he admits, it's not the most enjoyable place to be on a windy day in the middle of January.
