Schiller holds the only existing photograph of his father who was executed
in the holocaust. The photograph came from a long lost cousin who found
him and wrote him a letter some 60 years after he fled from Warsaw,
Poland. Schiller has lived most of his life thinking that his entire
family had perished in the war.
