Instead of sending a boring end of the year holiday letter that rarely gets read, I decided to create a booklet which told the story of events from the past year, complete with photographs, captions, and a keepsake christmas ornament attached to the front. The ornament on the front is a handmade snowflake engraving. The pages were typeset using Quark XPress, and. The envelope was handmade as well.
